AGES: Kids, teens, and young adults sessions for ages 5-22, and adult sessions for ages 18+
ELIGIBLE DISABILITY / FUNCTIONALITY: Camp Altitude is for boys and girls with social cognitive challenges including: verbal and nonverbal learning disabilities, ADHD, Asperger’s, and high functioning autism. For traditional overnight camps, seems to cover wider range of abilities.
CAMPS OFFERED: (1) Traditional overnight camps for ages 5-22 with high support. (2) Adult Adventures in Leadership program to help adults with physical or developmental disabilities prepare for work in community settings. (3) Camp Altitude for boys and girls with social cognitive challenges including: verbal and nonverbal learning disabilities, ADHD, Asperger’s, and high functioning autism.
LOCATION / SETTING: "Stunning" 13.5 acre campus in the Cupertino foothills. "Our one of a kind outdoor learning facility feels like a secluded natural retreat but we are a mere 7 miles from the intersection of highways 280 and 85"
ACTIVITIES: Traditional overnight programs provide independent living skills and executive functioning, while having fun. Activities are themed to each weekend and include cooking, hiking, swimming, music, sports, dramatic arts, creative arts, and more. Themes this summer include: Harry Potter, Adventures in Africa, Trip Around USA, and others. For Camp Altitude: We build social skills, independence, and self-confidence to prepare our participants for the transition to young adulthood, future relationships, and the rest of their lives.

STAFF TO CAMPER RATIO: 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1
STAFF INFO: The majority staff are undergraduate or graduate students working towards degrees in nursing, special education, social work, counseling, physical therapy, adaptive physical education, vocational education, etc. Staff go through fingerprint background checks. Nurse 24/7. Two full time chefs.
SUMMER CAMP DATES: Various dates between June 8 and August 12. (Adult Leadership programs start May 31)
PRICES: Camps fees can be paid by Regional Center, but require additional private payment of about $85 per day. For fully private payment for traditional overnight camps: $657-$2100 depending on ratio and length of session | Day Camp Private Pay: $205 for 3:1 or $245 for 2:1 or $290 for 1:1.
LODGING: 5 dormitory style sleeping lodges
HEALTHCARE: Onsite, full equipped Health Care Center, and Registered Nurse on campus 24/7. Urgent care is 10-15 minutes away. El Camino Hospital is 15 minutes away. On-site health care supported include: Medication, Medically Prescribed Treatments (ex. Respiratory Treatments), Diabetes, Seizures, G-Tubes
FOOD: 2 full time chefs to accommodate dietary needs. Special diets supported include: Allergies, Diabetic, Gluten Free, Casein Free, Lactose Free, Vegetarian

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation available throughout Bay Area. $75 each way from San Jose, Santa Clara, Palo Alto, and Fremont. $100.00 each way from South San Francisco, Oakland, Santa Rosa, Salinas, and Santa Cruz.
